The core activities of the Africa Chapter follow the Alliance’s three pillars to support NGOs and strengthen their work.
The Africa Chapter connects Alliance NGOs in Africa, enabling them to work more closely on common challenges and solutions and to call together for action.
Africa Chapter members benefit from specific training, mentoring, events, and resources tailored to the region, as well as being able to access the wider capacity building tools open to all Alliance members.
Through advocacy, Alliance NGOs in Africa push for policies, plans, and actions in line with international road safety targets to save lives and reduce the effects of road traffic crashes. The Alliance helps to mobilize them through global campaigns and regional collaborations and action.
